So this is my master list for Remus and Narcissa fic and art. Most of it is romantic but some of it isn't. I'm still working on compiling more of it as more people recommend things and as I find things on *gasp* fanfiction.net. I'm so afraid. I found a couple that I just won't read.


Recommended Fic:

Gratitude by violet_quill - 3300 words - NC-17 : After Lucius' incarceration, the Malfoy assets are totally frozen and Narcissa is ordered to leave the manor, she goes to the only person she can think of.
-A little out of character for Remus in my opinion, though were the story a bit longer I think it might be explained. I love Narcissa and it's a great set up. Sort of sad but good.

Torn Continent by imochan - NC-17 : Narcissa finds Remus in the library and grills him about Sirius while exerting her power over him.
-I like it very much. A little detached, I get more of a sense of Narcissa than of Remus, but he power is wonderful! It's very nicely done.

He Makes Me Happy by dsneyvoice - 2000 words - NC-17: While in school, tutoring sessions turned to love, and Remus and Narcissa have to deal with the consequences as she marries Lucius.
-This is one of my favourites, it really is. Odd that it's written by a R/S shipper. :) I would love to see one of the school scenes played out more thoroughly! It's an overview of a beautiful possibility.

Visage by dorotea - R :What does Narcissa want from Remus other than Sex. Post book 5, Narcissa has an affair with Remus while Lucius is in Azkaban.
-Very snarky, leaving a lot of questions but a finished piece. I love it and want more!


And I Feel It Falling Apart by marginalia - 200 word drabble - Rish:Narcissa comes back to #12, a hurried scene between she and Remus though there are shadowings of Remus/Sirius
-Very nice, brief and poignant as a drabble should be.

The Gift by ofscarletwoman - 214 words - R :Narcissa takes Remus into the manor as lord of the house(and her). Compares the difference between Lucius and Remus.
-A very nice little sketch with Remus as the Alpha.

Novembers by ofscarletwoman - drabble - PG-13 :Narcissa bites her nails to the quick every November and every November he calls while Lucius is away. A sketch of possibly the last time Remus and Narcissa meet in the manor.
-Turns very dark towards the end and is very ambiguous about what will happen. I like it very much though I'm not sure if I want to know what happens afterward!

Colours by ofscarletwoman - 103 words - G :Narcissa's thoughts about Goyle and Remus in association with colors.
-Short and very cute. Comparing an OC Goyle, to Remus, to herself. The last line is killer.

The Lady and the Wolf by elfflame - 150 words - PG :An ever after drabble for the lady(Narcissa) and the wolf(remus).
-Very cute. I would love to see this actually incorporated as a longer fic based on fairy tales.

The Boy Who Knew Loneliness by elfflame - 299 words - PG :Fairy tale telling of how Remus becomes a werewolf and post book 5 narcissa bringing him back to himself
-Again, very cute. I like the fairy tale feeling that makes the story not necessarily in the hp world.

Salt by alkairis - R :A secret relationship in school leads Remus to tell Narcissa that he loves her. Then she knows that he belongs to her and can use him as she will. And she does. It pursues their relationship from school through the first and second wars.
-Probably one of the best Remus/Narcissa fic I've read. Beautifully tragic and very well executed. Easily believable.

The Devil Inside by camillabloom - 666 words - PG-13 :Malfoy manor and its inhabitants, after the war.
-Very dark and highly recommended. I won't say more, just read it.

Butterfly by esmaraldo - G :Before the marauders know he is a werewolf, Remus crushes on Narcissa and catches she and Lucius together.
-Very nice snippet, I would like to see more.

Untitled by esmaraldo - G :From Mrs.Norris' pov, Narcissa tells Remus that she's said yes to Lucius.
-Very nice snippet, I like how it was executed. Very cute.




Remus and Narcissa fic that could grow on me:

Moratorium by Nyohah - PG-13 :Introspective Narcissa does some dirty work for Lucius and proves the secret of Lily Evans.
-This took me a bit to get into. I think the writing style is just not my thing, but it ended up being a good fic if you read the whole thing(it's in three short parts).

Comfort by kitsunelover - PG-113 :After Lucius' incarceration, and Sirius' death, Remus and Narcissa have nowhere to turn. They make do with each other.
-Very nice. A one night stand with hope of more but no promises and a realistic approach to the sudden joining of the pairing.




Remus and Narcissa fic but not my cup of tea:

The Incredibly Futile Escape From A Werewolf by TDan - PG-13 :Narcissa, Lucius, and the marauders in potions class and afterward Narcissa running into Remus Lupin.
-Remus/Narcissa.....sorta, but not really up to my standards, nor is the fic my cup of tea.

For the Taking by ofscarletwoman - 1306 words - NC-17 :Narcissa offers Remus a chance of a lifetime with her and he takes it, but there is a twist ending.
-Nice and smutty. I'm not sure if I like the end or not but it's a well written fic. It's not exactly a true pairing of Narcissa/Remus though...

Gray by cmere - 1752 words - PG-13 :Remus is being tortured by Narcissa to tell where Harry Potter is. This is the end of the second war and everything is looking pretty bad for the order.
-Not really Remus/Narcissa, more Remus/Sirius.

Bad Moon Rising - Part 1. Charge by anaid_rabbit - 455 words - R :The first time Remus and Narcissa make love - in a broom closet. He will never be good enough for her.
-I like it, but I think this is the sort of story that I would like "shown" and not "told."

Merely Lust by Chandra Chhaya - :Remus' best kept secret is not that he's a werewolf, it's that he crushes on Narcissa Black. One day his fantasies are realized, but it is not what he wants it to be.
-I Was pretty bored with the style, I felt like I was being "told" too much of the story. I had no sense of character and no attatchment to the ship in the story. It could have been anyone.
